Go big or go home.

At first, I wasn't so crazy about this quote. It was a little too much in-your-face for me. Go home? I don't get to play in the sandbox at all? Who died and made you king of the universe?

But that go big part -- that's what's kept me coming back to it the last few days. What feels even more accurate might be "Go true." Or "Go strong." Or "Go real." Cuz big, well, that could mean you gotta be the CEO of a company, or some other lifestyle trade-off that many people just don't equate with happiness, ya know? But everyone has their own rendition of "big", what would make their days pure heaven were it to come true.

Then the go home part makes sense.

If you're not willing to play your version of big, then why bother playing at all?

But that's the point, too - some people don't play at all, thinking that if they can't play UberPerfect, they won't even make the playoffs.

Let's go back to sandlot baseball, where you bring to the table what you've got, and it will do.
