IgniteDetroit #1 @Blissmonger

I had the distinct privilege of speaking at the first IgniteDetroit experience in 2010. My talk focused on my being laid off the previous year, and how my distinctive point of view made it possible for me to embrace it as an opportunity rather than a tragedy, something all good blissmongers know how to do. Of course that all ties in to being connected and committed to ourselves first so great relationships and other awesome stuff can come our way. Enjoy.

clouds of killer bees Just in case anyone wonders if life in the blissmonger world ever hits speed bumps, Mack trucks or clouds of killer bees, the answer would be, "Hell, yes." Like everybody else's. What might be different in my experience is that I tend to rally my persistence and dogged determination to take what I am able to from what has shown up and move on. As soon as possible. Because I know the longer I allow myself to wallow in defensiveness or justification, the longer this unacceptable situation is going to hang out with me.
