JOT Day 36 - Grappa, pesto and a little sumpin', sumpin - not necessarily in that order

Tonight we had dinner on St. Martin at Spago, a new place that is slowly building its reputation and clientele.

The gnocchi w/ shrimp & pesto was amazing. The grappa afterward was divine. I hope the word gets out.

After days of research and then following my gut, I chose a domain name for my new website. There are still many days left before I've completed the initial steps and the unvieling begins, but I am so excited about doing the writing and following the loose formula.

Which anyone has to do. You take a proven formula, and the adapt it to what works in your situation.

JOT Day 35 - Resistance thy name is parasite Resistance. Our lives are ruled by it, until they aren't. It feeds off of our knee-jerk reactions, until we decide we've had enough of them. It shoots justification and indignation through our veins like a sugar high, and we come down just as low afterwards. Strip away the layers of meaning we put on top of any situation, and resistance has to look elswhere for sustenance. Pull the plug on resistance.

JOT Day 37 - What do you want? No, not that. What do you really want? What do you want, that you almost don't let yourself even think about because there's a belief you've practiced into such a place of silent vigil that even tip-toeing around in that territory feels like breaking several rules?
